This reporter covers the Berkshires through the prism of State House public policy news coverage from Boston, the state capitol. This coverage is sorely lacking: Berkshire County is in Massachusetts, but doesn’t get local television news from Boston. Instead, the county gets TV news channels from Albany, N.Y., that don’t cover the Berkshires. This reporter also covers the Berkshires in a way that commands the attention of Boston.
