Getting Involved

Your involvement in the alumni network can vary based on your interests and how involved you want to be. Perhaps you want to play a leadership role; or perhaps you want to act as a state coordinator for local alumni, organizing local meet-ups and get-togethers. It could also mean speaking on behalf of RFA to students at your alma mater.

We would love your help recruiting journalists to our program. To help the recruitment team find qualified Report for America candidates, contact Tim Lampley, Recruitment Manager, at tlampley@reportforamerica.org.

Members of our alumni network can take advantage of these benefits…

  • Staying connected to a supportive and dynamic network of alumni in our Slack, LinkedIn and Facebook groups
  • Access to special events and gatherings for alumni
  • Ongoing access to our training library with videos and tip sheets

For more information about becoming involved as an alum, email recruitment@reportforamerica.org.
