The El Dorado News-Times, sometimes called "The Voice of South Arkansas," is the premier periodical dedicated to covering news in Union County. Our mission is to cover the news impartially, holding local government to account, highlighting the people making a difference in our community and shining a light on everything that matters to local residents. We work with sister papers in Camden and Magnolia to cover the entirety of the Golden Triangle of South Arkansas.

Hawaiʻi Public Radio

Hawaiʻi Public Radio is a statewide organization whose mission is to educate, inform, connect and entertain. Our newsroom has grown over the past 12 years from fewer than six positions to more than 16, expanding our content on the air and online. Our broadcast signal reaches an audience over water and volcanic mountains comprising some of the most challenging territory in the world for radio waves. Our digital work reaches a global audience. On our best days, we elevate voices that may not otherwise be heard.

KWQC TV6 News

KWQC TV6 is the legacy broadcast and digital news organization in the Davenport IA, Rock Island/Moline, IL market, serving the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois. KWQC, owned and operated by Gray Television, has consistently been the top-rated station for news and weather information. The operation produces content for multiple platforms around the clock. In addition to an unwavering commitment to local journalism and state-of-the art weather forecasting, the KWQC news organization is dedicated to serving their communities through local programming initiatives that support diversity and inclusion.

Louisiana Illuminator

The Louisiana Illuminator is an independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization driven by its mission to cast light on how decisions are made in Baton Rouge and how they affect the lives of everyday Louisianians, particularly those who are poor or otherwise marginalized. Here readers will find in-depth investigations and news stories, news briefs and commentary, all of which is intended to help them make sense of how state policy is crafted, how it helps or hurts them and how it helps or hurts their neighbors across the state.

The Texas Tribune

The Texas Tribune is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, digital-first news organization that informs and engages with Texans on public policy, politics, government and statewide issues. This news organization's site provides vital information and news to millions of Texans for free, and its journalism is distributed through more than 60 statewide media partners to local outlets. Partnerships with platforms including ProPublica, Apple News, and SmartNews put its content before a nationwide audience.

The Salt Lake Tribune

The Salt Lake Tribune is Utah’s largest daily newspaper, founded as an alternative voice in 1871. From air quality to cultural trends to analysis of the Utah Jazz, the news organization’s goal is to inform, enlighten and empower Utahns with news they can trust. The Salt Lake Tribune is Utah’s leader in accountability journalism and investigative reporting, consistently pushing for access, open records and transparency through requests, appeals, legislation and, when necessary, litigation.

Richland Source

Richland Source is a free, digital news site that covers Richland, Ashland County and Knox counties in north central Ohio. Its focus is solutions journalism and journalistic responses to questions posed by readers.

New York Focus

New York Focus unmasks power in the Empire State. As the only nonprofit publication with an emphasis on state-level coverage, we produce deeply reported, investigative stories on the systems, decisions and actors that affect communities throughout New York. While most local accountability coverage is directed at New York City, we keep an eye on Albany — the notoriously corrupt and quietly impactful center of power throughout the state.

The Texas Newsroom/KERA

NPR and Texas public radio stations collaborated to form the Texas News Hub. It’s the first step in a systemwide collaborative project to create a nationwide virtual public radio newsroom of 1,000-plus journalists. The collaboration includes two daily, hour-long statewide programs (Texas Standard and Think) and will soon include six daily statewide newscasts, and a statewide digital news desk. The Hub is working to hire and train freelance and small station reporters to provide news service to underserved communities in the state’s news deserts.

WFAE

WFAE is the NPR station serving a 32-county listening area in the Charlotte region. Our mission is to produce journalism that informs, enriches and inspires. For 32 years, people across the Carolinas have relied on WFAE to offer comprehensive and in-depth reporting on the topics they need to understand, whether of local, national, or international importance. Acclaimed NPR programs and our local show, Charlotte Talks, continue to be cornerstones of our trusted on-air brand. Our increasingly diverse community consumes content through our broadcast signals, online at WFAE.org, through smart speakers, newsletters, podcasts and social media. Stories produced by our staff often air on NPR stations across the country as well as on BBC news.
